Joanne Chen studied at violin at the Boston Conservatory, Conservatorium van Amsterdam and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Joanne is a very successful freelance violinist and teacher, regularly performing with such prestigious orchestras as the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra and the City of Birmingham Symphony. She has had much success as a violin teacher with posts at the Arts Educational School (Chiswick) and Highbury Grove School (Islington) and presently at St Marylebone C of E School, Paddington. Her private violin tuition is based in south east London area of Charlton, Se7. She also is a fluent speaker of Mandarin Chinese and fine pianist having played the Schumann Piano Concerto with Orchestra at the age of 17. Joanne is a member of the Mancini String Quartet.

Damon Flanagan is a London based violin teacher with a private studio in violin teaching studio in Charlton, Greenwich and a violin teacher at the Junior London College of Music and a deputy violin teacher at Junior Trinity College of Music. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Simon Fischer and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with  Ilya Grubert. Damon plays regularly with orchestral the City of Birmingham Symphony, English National Ballet, Bournemouth Symphony and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has always had a great interest in teaching violin. At the age of just 16 he successfully entered a student for a Grade Exam 3. During his time as violin teacher at Charles Edward Brooke School the school achieved 'music college' status with Lambeth Borough Council. Damon also has Grade 8 Distinction on Piano.
